Dates and times for the August Crop is ....



August 20th 6pm - 12 Midnight

August 21 11 am - 9 pm

August 22 12Noon - 6pm



( entire weekend of scrappin' - woooo whoooo! )

Crop Fee $5 per day Dinner $5 per day ( available Friday and Saturday only )

Friday night meal - Fajita's bar - all the fixin's - yum!

Saturday night meal - Jeager Schnitzel ( chicken schnitzel ) in a gravy with homemade spaetzle ( noodles ) Salad and dinner rolls

RSVP as soon as possible so I can get a idea as to how many will attend. If I don't get more than 3 ladies per day I may cancel that days crop.



Scrap your summer memories in the air conditioning and visit with friends ... should be a lot of fun!



** There will also be 2 New kits available and many old favorites to keep you busy if you need some inspiration :)

7/23 We R Memory Keepers- Retro Glam Card Kit

Ok Girls I know I have blogged lately about these Scrapbook card kits, and guess what I actually did one today... AND I LOVE IT!!!! I bought the We R Memory Keepers Retro Glam Card kit. Each kit has everything you need to make 8 cards. I added some foam pop dots, inked everything and a little ribbon and I think they are all amazing! Inking them added some time to the creative process but I think it made them even better. So for my $12.99 I got 8 cards ~ that is $1.62 each and you can't get cards this cute for that price anywhere. Jacki and Nadia liked them so much they got a set and I even bought another one of these to make for my mom as a gift.

7/20 Basic Grey page and card kits

Basic Grey has always been one of my favorite paper lines and the longer I scrapbook the more I love them. I also really think the company is good at knowing what the average scrapper likes and they are great at getting it out there and into out busy hands. A couple of weeks ago I blogged about card kits. Well I am loving the card kits. If any of you have been to Hallmark lately to grab a card you will surely know what I am talking about when I say they are getting expensive! What is so nice about the card kits is you get everything you need to make 8 beautiful cards and includes the envelopes for $14.99 MSRP. Well now they are including page kits in their lineup.
Each kit includes everything you need to create 2 layouts ... that is a total of 4 pages for $17.99.Now one thing I did notice is they are pretty .... but kind of basic. So here is what I think ... why not use what they give you as a base and add some of your own touches.... flowers, bling, stickles, brads, buttons and ribbons. Just a little would make them so incredible. Here is the new page and card kits for Basic Grey's Oliver and Olivia line. I love them both and how cute are these kits???

7/19 Camping and Fishing layouts

A couple of years ago we went camping and we really aren't the big campers, but the kids loved it so much we did it a couple years in a row. I took so many pictures the first year, the second year we went I knew there would be just as many photo's and I was determined to scrapbook the memories. So I bought a tun of awesome papers and embellishments and anything I needed to create the pages while camping and took it all with me. I am really not a big sticker lover but I knew if I wanted to create pages while camping I would need to keep it simple. The pages came together quickly and I was able to add some letters with the use of my Sizzix machine. For those of you not familiar with Sizzix it's a die cutting machine you use small dies for cutting. It is a little bulky but doesn't require a plug in. (perfect for camping:) So with summer here and the itch to do something fun I am thinking camping again. So I took out my camping layouts for a refresher on the memories and how much fun it was.I have a tum of pictures I just don't know why I haven't added them all to these pages either way they are all great layouts and perfect for some summer inspiration. Enjoy!
