Cricut Cartridges on sale 7/31

Ok, so I know I don't need any more cricut cartridges ... (I have 54) but I just bought another one that comes with 2 FREE! YES I Said 2 FREE!!!

Go to :www.cricutmachine.com ( or click the little box on the top right corner)

Once there the header ( if still available ) says :get Cindy Loo and Jubilee for free! With any Cricut Cartridge $34.95 or more!

You have to add the cindy loo and jubilee combo pack into your cart and use CINDYLOO for the coupon code to get it to take it off in the check out.
But... hey I bought a $39.95 cartridge ( Disney Cars ) and I got 2 for FREE so that is 3 for $50 ( with shipping ) so that makes them about $16.70 a cartridge and that beats Joann Fabrics $29.99 sale any day!!!!

and FYI - shipping usually takes 3-4 days for me to get it... so the turn around is great!!! :)

** I am not sure how long the sale will last or how long they will have the free cartridges so if you don't see it in the blue box on their home page ... it may not be available still. I dated this post so you know when I got in on the deal ~ GOOD LUCK :)

Graduation Layouts

With Graduation this last June I was busy scrapbooking all my son's senior pictures.

I really wanted the album done so that I could set it out at his party for

friends and family to look back at what a great

accomplishment he has made.

So PROUD of him!!!

I did have more pages in his album but I really wanted to share a few of his favorites.

These I didn't create myself ... I purchased them at scrapbook

convention. They are from

Dillon Laser Designs

and are pretty reasonably priced and so easy to do.

I actually think they add a great teen, young adult look to the

album. They really help keep it from looking to young.

I think that is what Keith liked best.

I also like that they were all done and with all the graduation stuff to do ...

these really helped save time!!!

VERY COOL!!!!

Dillon Laser Designs

Some of the back papers are cheap and so I definitely had to change them !!!
Dillon Laser Designs

Both these looked like pg.1 ~ I cut the prom off and turned the page sideways. I liked it better.

Dillon Laser DesignsCricut Formal occasions sample page and another one Jacki I created.

This is a GREAT cartridge to

add to your collection.... only thing is it is really for the advanced cricut cutter.

I do feel after this one... I can cut anything!!!

This was really a great album to do ...

and can you believe I almost have pictures in the entire book!!! :)

Graduation Layout

With graduation just around the corner...

things are feeling out of control and

time is passing

WAY TO FAST!

I have been working on a Senior album for

Keith

and here is just a simple, yet cute senior layout.

I bought a kit at convention that I liked,

I really only liked the 5 tags on the bottom of pg.2,and what they said.

So, I used it as a template and changed what I didn't like

and made it my own.

My Minds Eye Stella and Rose

I love this collection from My Minds Eye... all of it. But I thought I would share what I did with the boy part of the colletion. I bought them with intentions to create a kit and then change to create pages for Craftwarehouse's design team contest. I just don't have time to get all the elements required for the entry in so I guess they are going to be just for me and I get to share them with you now!
Enjoy and Happy Easter! ( This was also a kit for those of you who were lucky and saw them as I was creating them... and so sorry all kits are already taken )

Prom Layout

I bought the new Cricut Cartridge Formal Occasions, it's a must have for any parent with a junior or senior in High School! With my son graduating this June... I have lots to scrapbook!!! After buying the cartridges I always look at the book and checkout all the goodies. I wandered across a one page layout as the sample. I loved it, but I always scrapbook 2 pages. So I created their sample page and one for myself. What do you think?

This first page is the sample page in the Cartridge manual. It's super cute! All the cuts( how to ) are in the book in 4 or 5 different languages. It's kind complicated following the directions... I thought once I refered to the book it became a whole lot easier. If you are a beginner (novice) with the cricut this may be more difficult for you.

This is the page I created with a little help from my friend Jacki. I did all the cutting, she was master gluer! :)

** Note- Although this is super cute and a great addition to any book.... you better LOVE it and gotta have it before you attempt it! This took us two days to do ( we created it times 4 )Total time it took probably 6-8 hours!!! But worth it!

Cricut Cartridges ... on SALE

I popped into Michaels today... and

guess what?

Cricut Cartridges are on sale for $34.95

for all their $59- $60 cartridges.

I really don't need any I have around 50 ... but at that price

couldn't I use just one more :)???

Well I got Paper Lace ...

What I like about this cartridge ( and it surprised me ) is

Each of the images you see here have 3 more different ones that accompany

each design button, for example the first one in the top left corner...

cuts 2 more different designs with the same button. REALLY COOL!

Plus each of the words... cut 3 different ways too! So

THANK you is 3 different looks total. There is also a font on the cartridge too!

This wasn't one I thought I wanted but I love the heart and a few on the

designs, so I broke down and decided to get it. Plus at that price

I gotta have it. ( I never pay full price )

Now that I did ... SUPER HAPPY!

** ( Gotta add if you have the cricut expressions and can cut 12x12 this cartridge cuts all those pretty lacy papers we have been paying lots of money for!!! )

My Minds Eye Lil Robots

My Minds Eye

Lil' Robots Collection

I bought this collection some time ago and had it in my to do pile.

So at my last crop when my friend Nadia came with her to do pile... it got me thinking and I challenged her to make something with these pages.

I had bought basically everything in the photo above.

Plus I had bought the Cricut Robotz Cartridge.

( on-line for $14.95 I NEVER pay full price for cartridges!!! )

So the challenge, I gave her a bit of an idea I had all the MME goodies, and Kami

( my 15 year old daughter ) Kami would do a set of pages for me and she is

a master on the cricut! She cuts lots!!! :)

SO here is what they did....

Nadia's layout ( took all day :) she really got into the designing it! ) Kami's layout ( she cut and created the robot :) I'm sure you will agree with me ... they are both fabulous! I like them both so much and I'm glad they shared them so we can all see them! Nice job ladies!!!

We R Memory Keeper Albums

I LOVE these albums!
They are WE R Memory Keeper 3 ring albums.
They retail around $33.00

This weekend I was out at Craft warehouse and they had 5 or 6 colors available
and their price is $24.99 each.
They also have a coupon flier ( hanging in the store ) that has a 40% off coupon on
it, and yes you can use the coupon on the album!
That makes them $14.99! WOW!
I do have 10 of the fliers here if you would like one... but they do have
them hanging all over the store and the coupon
is good through 3/20 so I am for sure going to get more for myself!!!!

St. Patricks Day Layouts

A few months back at a crop I decided to pick the brain of
Nadia, one of my scrappers at my crops. She's always up for my crazy ideas
and is easily sidetracked ... I love that when I am feeling creative and
need someone to bounce ideas on and challenge me!
So, I challenged her. ( mind you it was October ) The challenge....Take this super
cute shamrock paper and create a layout .... NOT ST. Patricks just a cute layout
and gave her the exact same papers as I had.
Here is what we came up with...
~My layout~
LUCKY ME!

Around the shamrock it says.... I'm so lucky to have you in my life... you are my lucky charm. Lucky me!
~ Nadia's Layout ~
Lucky to have you!

I'm sure you will agree with me when I say we BOTH did an amazing job...
and it really gets you to think out side the box.
Maybe some of those other holiday papers could be used some other way!

Sale.... at one of my favorite websites

One of my favorite web-sites to buy cricut cartridges has a sale

2/21 Cardstock --- Time to stock up

It is time to stock up on Cardstock!
I found this great resource at scrapbook convention last year and
its the cheapest cardstock I can find.
I buy packages of Cardstock( 25 sheets per pkg) for $5.00 ( includes. SH in price ) You have to buy each package in all one color and there is a minimum order so I put out a shout out to my ladies and we all stock up.
( Its a great time to get black, brown, white and ivory... plus any of those other
colors we use a tun of!! )
The minimum is $200 ( at the $5 price ) on the order . It is REALLY nice cardstock and at those prices it makes it 20 cents a sheet!
I usually stock up twice a year. Fall Winter colors and now it's time for Spring summer!
If you would like to order some cardstock I have swatches for color matching and I am ordering This Weekend!!! 2\26 2\27
If you would like to know where order comment below I and I will share the information. ;)

Cricut Cartridges.... at Great Prices!!!!

I have almost 50 Cricut Cartridges now and I thought I would share my
favorite place to purchase them.
I LOVE
for cartridges. They run on average about $20...
I have even found sales as low as $13.95! Shipping isn't to high but it does add to the cost of the cartridges, but still $20 is much better that the higher prices at Michaels. It takes about 3 days to get your order too! Can't beat that!

All the New release Cartridges run a little higher anywhere from $22.95,- $29.95 and some around $5o. I did find that they have sales often and if there is
a NEW one you want that is a little high in price... if you wait in a few weeks they will go down in price!
All in all they have a tun under $20 and I have NEVER had a problem ordering
and receiving anything! They also have the cheapest prices I have found on Cricut pads and some great deals and bundles on machines!!!!
Great resource!!!!

MME Good Day Sunshine Collections

With Convention just around the corner for us here in Portland, Oregon....
March 25th and 26th... I have began to think that
if I am still knee deep in the remodel and unable to scrap.... that I could at least take some
time to talk scrap about some great new products that I might like to
see there. I love My Minds Eye and these are so great for summer!
